The Presets ProfileAs the festival draws ever closer, part one of our recent interview with Parklife headliners The Presets has gone live this morning and you can watch it right here.
In the first of a three-part series, the hugely successful Aussie electro duo talk about overcoming the success of their previous release Apocalypso, and getting back into the process of writing and recording their new album Pacifica.
“We got back into it quite slowly” the group's Julian Hamilton says. “Casually we'd get together once a week and we'd noodle around in the studio and make beeps and make sounds. So we weren't really making a record, y'know, we were just screwing about in the studio for the first time in a long time”.
As previously mentioned, The Presets are heading around the country for the Parklife festival, which kicks off this Saturday in Brisbane.
