Barry Adamson is back with the band after nearly 30 years
Former Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds member Barry Adamson has announced that he is working with the band again, “30 years later”.
The 54-year-old bassist made the announcement on Twitter, posting:
And so it is written. 30 yrs later I'm back playing in Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds @ncandtbs #mafiastyle

Adamson, who has also played with post-punk pioneers Magazine, The Birthday Party and Visage, played on Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' first four records, From Her To Eternity (1984), The Firstborn Is Dead (1985), Kicking Against The Pricks (1986) and Your Funeral… My Trial 1986).

Following that he embarked on a solo career inspired by concept albums and soundtracks. His third solo record, Soul Murder, was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize in 1992.
Adamson told a user on Twitter that he will be joining the band on his US tour and theMusic.com.au is awaiting confirmation that he will be playing on the Australian dates.
