Yep - it's official now.
Filming for the new Olivia Newton-John biopic is to commence this month with Sydney artist Delta Goodrem confirmed to portray the Aussie music icon, following months of dispute between the production company and Newton-John.
As TV Tonight reports, filming will begin in just under two weeks in Victoria.
Though Goodrem has being tipped to play the title role for some time, Newton-John had reportedly been pushing back on the project and, according to Daily Mail, went so far as to try and shut production down last year.
FilmVic said in a statement, "The story of Olivia Newton-John will chart her remarkable path through one of the world’s toughest industries, and provide a glimpse into the extraordinary achievements of one of Australia’s most loved icons".
