US trans-coastal darkwave/synthpop luminary Cold Cave, known to his friends as Wesley Eisold, has cancelled his planned, admittedly limited, tour of Australia and New Zealand this September.
The tour was to have commenced in Wellington, on September 4, and included stops in Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney along the way. There has been no direct comment from Cold Cave as to the reasons behind the cancellation yet.
However, if you were one of the dedicated folks who had bought a ticket to see the sullen singer-songwriter in person, you can rest easy — full refunds are available via points of sale, so contact the vendors through whom you secured your pass and enjoy a little extra cash on-hand, even though that means missing out on some guaranteed good times.
