NYD 2024 ‘Day One’ Reverence Sydney Adds 25+ Local DJs To Line-Up

Sydney's eagerly anticipated NYD 2024 'Day One' Reverence event just became an even more exciting prospect for electronic music enthusiasts to ring in the new year.

After announcing an epic line-up consisting of Basement Jaxx (DJ Set), Faithless (DJ Set), LTJ Bukem and more, over 25 talented local DJs have been added to the bill, ensuring an unforgettable New Year's Day celebration set to take place at the iconic Greenwood Hotel on January 1, 2024.

Spread across four stages, this event will be a sonic feast for attendees, offering an eclectic blend of house music, drum & bass, breaks, and progressive sounds. The party promises to kick off the New Year in style, with attendees deferring their resolutions for one more day to dance the night away.

Rodd Richards Presents (RRP) has also announced an addition to the event with the exclusive use of a brand new space adjacent to Greenwood, aptly named Bar 400.

This innovative move introduces a fourth stage to the festivities, a first in the history of Greenwood events, providing more room for everyone to revel and another stage loaded with day-to-night tunes.

The event will be headlined by the legendary Basement Jaxx (DJ Set), renowned for their timeless classics like Jump N Shout, Red Alert, Rendez-Vu, Bingo Bango, Romeo, and Where's Your Head At.

Joining Basement Jaxx on stage will be the much-loved Faithless (DJ Set), who have remained fixtures in the club scene over the past 25 years. Founded by Rollo and Sister Bliss, Faithless boasts a string of Top 10 UK hits, including club anthems such as Salva Mea, Insomnia, Reverence, God is a DJ, and We Come 1.

The line-up doesn't stop there — Drum and Bass aficionados are in for a treat as the event will also feature the talents of LTJ Bukem, a pivotal figure in the UK's Drum and Bass scene during the early 90s.

Pioneers of the breakbeat scene since the late 90s, Plump DJs are another exciting addition to the line-up. Their rich history includes collaborations with acclaimed artists such as Deadmau5, Mark Ronson, Fatboy Slim, and Orbital. With iconic albums like A Plump Night Out and Eargasm, Plump DJs' infectious beats are sure to ignite the dance floor.

Music lovers can also look forward to a standout performance by Dillinja, a UK-based producer known for his chart-topping hits like Tear Off Your Chest and Deadly Deep Subs. Alongside Lemon D, Dillinja played a pivotal role in the creation of Valve Recordings, one of the pioneering labels in the Drum and Bass genre.
