Nick Cave & Warren EllisNick Cave & The Bad Seeds began the Australian and New Zealand leg of their massive Wild God tour over the weekend, performing to devoted fans in Fremantle.
The group’s first Australian tour since 2017 comprises outdoor, open-air shows and a handful of indoor arena concerts. The fun began at Fremantle Park on Saturday (17 January), with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds performing a ripping 23-song set.
Eight songs were performed from the tour’s namesake album, Wild God, in addition to classics from across the band’s career. There were O Children, Jubilee Street, From Her To Eternity, Red Right Hand, The Weeping Song, and Into My Arms, to name a few. Read on to discover the first setlist of the tour.
As Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have amassed a successful career with numerous albums, we expect a deep cut or two to be added or changed to the Australian and New Zealand dates as the tour progresses, while many of the songs will remain the same.
