Fresh off their stellar New Years party with DJ Sports and Central, Bad Taste House Collective (BTHC) have punched out another great booking, this time bringing Montreal based Priori to Brisbane for the final leg of his Australian tour.
Francis Latreille, aka Priori, makes dance music that is equally at home in the club or at a smoky kick-ons - lush, expansive pads and meditative soundscapes are underpinned by tight, propulsive drums, drawing in sounds from the past and transporting them into the future. His debut EP, On a Nimbus, presents the culmination of this effort: a full length clinic in bleepy, transcendent braindance. He’s also a weapon behind the decks, deploying an adroit selection of new-age, hypnotic ordinance to send your mind into the farthest reaches of space.
Friday 28th February is the date, The Outpost is the place. Joining Priori on the night will be Fatshaudi (Live), StacEmp and BTHC AI. For full details and tickets click here.
