Billed as the first time he's performed as a duet with one of his animated characters, Damon Albarn and Gorillaz were one of the recent musical guests on Jimmy Kimmel's late night talk show last week. Albarn performed 'Aries' alongside 2-D, the "frontman" of Gorillaz while at home.
'Aries' was released last month, but the studio version actually features Peter Hook and Georgia. It was released as part of Gorillaz' 'Song Machine' series which has also gifted us 'Momentary Bliss' featuring Slowthai and Slaves, and 'Désolé' featuring Malian musician Fatoumata Diawara.
This performance also comes just after Albarn performed for Boiler Room's 'Streaming From Isolation' series. Watch the Jimmy Kimmel performance below:
