You Am I, Adalita And Abbe May Bring In 2016

More You Am I More You Am I

New Year's Day meets the world famous Tasmanian Museum of Old and New Art for a one day alt-rock mini fest. Aussie music royalty You Am I have been added to the line up - with over 25 years of experience over their belt, ten studio albums and hundreds of live shows, their new album Porridge & Hotsauce will offer the best hangover cure for 2016.

Having fronted '90s cult rock act Magic Dirt for more than 20 years, Adalita has proved herself a killer solo artist since 2010. Her second album All Day Venus was a coming of age for the musician. She will be joined on the bill by Abbe May's unmistakable voice with dark synth undertones, blues-tinged guitar and power riffs defining her own electronic doom-pop genre. The Cairo bazaar-inspired orchestrations of Joseph Tawadros. Tawadros has collaborated with Neil Finn, Lior and Katie Noonan and will be kicking off proceedings at MONA on New Year's Day.
