The Cool Accidents Singles Club will host shows accompanied by special 7" releases
Fledgling collaborative company The Venue Collective has teamed up with Warner Music blog Cool Accidents to bring a brand new singles club to Sydney and Melbourne, with the first such event planned for late next month.
The Cool Accidents Singles Club will host intimate live performances from all manner of esteemed acts, with each show being accompanied by a limited-edition 7" vinyl single.
The first band to be gracing the program is none other than Canberran electro three-piece Safia, who will head to Sydney's Newtown Social Club on Thursday, 30 April, before jetting down the coast to perform at Melbourne's Northcote Social Club the following week on Thursday, 7 May.
Everyone who books themselves a ticket (they're available now) will get a copy of show-specific release Cool Accidents Singles Club, Volume 1: Safia — Counting Sheep/Paranoia, Ghosts & Other Sounds (Live At Oxford Art Factory), the A-side of which has only recently been released as a recorded single as it is. The 7", as with future releases and events, will be available for collection at the gigs.
