The EP features guest vocals from TV On The Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe who will also feature on the album along with Damon Albarn of Blur fame, Hope Sandoval from Mazzy Star, and Martina and Guy from the band Elbow. Triple J’s music guru Richard Kingsmill recently spoke with G from Massive Attack and found out why it’s taken so long for the album to come about…

“This album's kind of the second bite of the cherry in a way because we went on tour last year and we prepared basically 8 of the 10 tracks that we were going to do for the album. And we toured it last year, we called it the Phantom Tour because we had quite a lot of songs ready for release and when we came back from tour me and Gene reconvened in the studio and found out that we wanted to approach it from a different angle, you know? So we got Tim Goldsworthy on board, we've been doing some beats and stuff with Tim. It's kind of change really. Quite a lot of the tracks have started up in the last six months or so.”

It was also revealed that we can expect Massive Attack to tour Australia again very soon. “We're coming over soon so that's going to be great isn't it. We'll be over there sort of February.”

Some rumors of a slot at this years Bog Day Out have been floating around… lets hope its true.
