Gold Coast Scores Huge New Festival Ft. Drapht, Dune Rats & More

The Gold Coast's newest festival is Shakafest. 

Shakafest is a reflection of the Gold Coast's mixed street scene and combines Aussie hip hop, grunge, surf rock, DJs, graffiti art and skating. This first festival boasts an insane line-up, headlined by hip hop sensation Drapht together with manic trio Dune Rats and thriller hip hop duo Spit Syndicate. 

Other acts to fill the line-up include Peach Fur, Ivey, Von Villains along with rockers The Vanna and Kiama punk act White Blanks.

This new festival promises a unique combination of skate, surf, art, food and music.
