Other acts so far include ARIA-nominated legendary indigenous singer-songwriter Emma Donovan, spooky soul extraordinaire Ella Thompson, alt-indie darling Grace Cummings, and 'gloriously funky and summery psychedelia-meets-disco-affair' groove project Cool Sounds. Though the line-up is already looking considerably stacked, stay tuned - more exhilarating acts are set to be announced soon.
Run by the award-winning Sharni Honor, Porch Records has consistently been a luminary of the Adelaide artistic scene. Nestled cosily in the creative space and coffee shop known as Summertown Studio down in sunny Somerton Park, Porch Records functions as an exquisitely curated record store as well as a home for exquisitely curated live shows. Given their reputation as expert upholders of the independent local scene, it is especially exciting to see Porch Records branch out into the creation of a major new event like this.
