Experimental Melbourne duo Fabulous Diamonds have announced their third album, Commercial Music, which will be released Friday 3 August through Chapter Music.
After two cult-appreciated records, the band recorded in the upstairs room of Melbourne's John Curtin Hotel, again recording with Eddy Current Suppression Ring guitarist Mikey Young, who worked on their 2010 disc Fabulous Diamonds II.
Keeping their drone and tribal influences, the band say the record highlights a "newfound ease" with songwriting.
