Nas' Adelaide Show Moves To Larger Venue

18 December 2014 | 2:46 pm | Staff Writer

The renowned rapper will now perform at Thebarton Theatre

Nas' forthcoming Illmatic tour, on which he will be performing the seminal 1994 album in its entirety, has grown a little larger with today's announcement that the acclaimed rapper's scheduled show at HQ has been moved to the larger confines of Thebarton Theatre.

Nas' Adelaide show sold out within a day, and with demand clearly still at significant levels, organisers have listened and moved the gig — which will still go down on Thursday 29 Jan — to the new venue to accommodate extra punters. A fresh batch of tickets is on sale now through Ticketmaster.

Existing ticketholders need not worry about following up — their tickets remain valid for the new show, with standing and seating general admission options available.

In addition, the veteran rhymesmith has announced that he will be joined by national support act Dusk — aka Abbie Cornish — who is currently prepping her debut full-length for release next year.

If you're considering it, you'll want to act quickly — Nas' shows in Melbourne and Sydney also sold out in a flash (a second Sydney show is on sale now), and given the limited numbers of extra tickets available for the new show, you can expect the chance won't be around for too much longer.
