Break The Ice 2013 final announcement
With the final weekend passes sell to disappear in the next few hours, the final line up for Break The Ice is here. Replacing the unfortunate loss of Rotting Out after their tour cancellation, Melbourne heavyweights Warbrain, local newcomers Free World and Canberra's most exciting Machina Genova.
Warbrain come onto the line up fresh from recording their debut album and a split 7" with US band Minus, a true institution in Melbourne, the band will use the show to warm up for their May tour with the UK's Brutality Will Prevail and Thorns. Free World have worked hard to make a name for themselves in Melbourne, playing hard on a variety of different line ups and in support of bands like Comeback Kid, Terror and Defeater. You may have not heard of Machina Genova yet, but after Break The Ice you won't forget them. Spawned from the hotbed of noise that is Canberra, their frantic metallic hardcore fury is best viewed live and up close. Come and see them spit rage at Break The Ice 2013.
