American rock outfit Flyleaf have announced dates for their first headlining tour of Australia.

The band, whose music is a mix of alternative, hard rock sounds fused with references to their own Christian beliefs, will be here in August for three East Coast shows.

Their most recent album New Horizons dropped in October last year, coinciding with the introduction of their new lead vocalist Kirsten May. She replaced original member and co-founder Lacey Sturm.
