Music Victoria's Hall Of Fame Inductees & Industry Award Winners Announced

The first of two Music Victoria Awards took place last night, with industry winners and Hall Of Fame nominees announced. 

Booking agent and publicist Mary Mihelakos and late musician Chris Wilson were announced as the 2020 Hall Of Fame inductees, with Wilson's family sharing a special performance of his song Hand Becomes Fist. 

Sarah Hamilton and Joel Ma (Joelistics) have been awarded the inaugural Outstanding Woman In Music and Best Producer respectively.

Golden Plains took out Best Festival, Barwon Club Hotel in Geelong and Theatre Royal in Castlemaine won the Regional Venue awards, while The Gasometer Hotel in Collingwood and Forum Melbourne have taken out the awards for Best Small and Best Large Venues. 

Nominees were also announced for the artist categories, including Sampa The Great, The Merindas, The Teskey Brothers, Simona Castricum, DRMNGNOW, RVG, Cable Ties and more. See the full list below.
