2020 Music Victoria Awards Performers Announced

Music Victoria has announced a huge line-up of local acts to perform at next month's awards ceremony. 

The event, which will take form as a hybrid in-person and live streamed ceremony on Wednesday 9 December, will see performances from the likes of Alice Skye, Elizabeth, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and Simona Castricum. 

PBS 106.7FM and RRR 102.7FM hosts Lyndelle Wilkinson and Chris Gill will be returning as MCs once more. 

The ceremony will announce the winners of this year's public-voted categories, including Best Album, Best Band, Best Song and more, as well as seeing the induction of booking agent and publicist Mary Mihelakos and late musician Chris Wilson to the Hall Of Fame. 

Last month saw the announcement of this year's Music Victoria Awards industry winners, including Sarah Hamilton and Joel Ma (Joelistics) for the inaugural Outstanding Woman In Music and Best Producer respectively.

Golden Plains took out Best Festival, Barwon Club Hotel in Geelong and Theatre Royal in Castlemaine won the Regional Venue awards, while The Gasometer Hotel in Collingwood and Forum Melbourne have taken out the awards for Best Small and Best Large Venues.
