"Victoria is one of the few scenes in the world that can warrant its own genre awards such is the strength of diversity."

Having already named many of the nominees for awards like Best Album and Best Song earlier this month (Courtney Barnett bagged five noms), The Age Music Victoria Awards have today revealed the 2015 nominees in their 11 genre categories.

Patrick Donovan, CEO of Music Victoria, says, "Victoria is one of the few scenes in the world that can warrant its own genre awards such is the strength of diversity. Congratulations to this year’s nominees." Each nominee will receive a rehearsal package at Bakehouse Studios, regardless of the outcome of each award.
