Music Of The White Stripes To Feature In New Aus Ballet Production

'Chroma' will make its Aussie debut this April

The music of alternative modern rockers The White Stripes will feature in a new production that will show during the upcoming season of The Australian Ballet.

Chroma - first created by Wayne McGregor in 2006 - has been reproduced for The Australian Ballet in 2014 and sees the music of The White Stripes along with Mozart and Tchaikovsky provide the back-drop to the enthralling live dance show.

The production will make its Aussie debut at the Sydney Opera House in the Joan Sutherland Theatre on Tuesday 29 April, finishing up on Saturday 17 May. It will venture down to Melbourne sometime in June

Chroma will share the bill with a number of other productions including Stephen Baynes' Art To Sky and the contemporary ballets Petite Mort & Sechs Tänze.
