"Order meets chaos and shelter meets wilderness".
Last in the country in 2015, Mumford & Sons have just revealed they will be returning Down Under early next year on the back of the release of their forthcoming album.
The indie rockers will set off in early January kicking things off on 15 January in Brisbane before heading to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and are bringing along special guest Michael Kiwanuka.
Since bursting onto the scene in 2009 with indie-rock staple Little Lion Man, Mumford & Sons are set to release Delta next month, four years after their previous ARIA #1 album Wilder Mind.
The new album apparently follows a similar theme with lead singer Marcus Mumford saying the collection represents a place "where order meets chaos and shelter meets wilderness".
Presale tickets for the tour go on sale next Wednesday 10 October with general admission going on sale the following Friday (12 October).
