Mumford & Sons Add Extra City To 2026 Australian Tour

With the additional concert announced, Mumford & Sons have now locked in five arena dates across Australia and New Zealand.

Mumford & Sons have responded to fan demand and added an extra city to their upcoming Australian tour itinerary.

Initially only performing in Melbourne and Sydney before heading to New Zealand for a show at Auckland’s Spark Arena, the Grammy Award-winning folk-rock band will now also perform in Brisbane. The tour marks their first shows in Australia since 2019.

The newly announced show will take place on Tuesday, 28 April, at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. With the additional concert, Mumford & Sons have now locked in five arena dates across Australia and New Zealand.

The tour begins at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Friday, 24 April, and Saturday, 25 April, followed by their Brisbane show, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Wednesday, 29 April, and concludes at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday, 2 May.

Fans who signed up to Mumford & Sons’ mailing list can access pre-sale tickets for the band’s Brisbane show from 9 am local time today. A Mastercard pre-sale is also available for punters today, with more information on the Priceless website.

General public tickets for the newly announced show will be available on Tuesday, 27 January, at 10 am AEST. You can find more ticketing information on the Secret Sounds and Live Nation websites.

$1 from every ticket sold will support War Child, an organisation that protects, educates, and stands up for the rights of children affected by conflict. For the tour, Mumford & Sons will be joined by special guests, Australian rising stars Folk Bitch Trio and US emerging lo-fi artist Hudson Freeman.

Mumford & Sons are touring in support of their forthcoming album, Prizefighter, which will be released on Friday, 20 February. The record, co-produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner – one of Taylor Swift’s go-to producers – will feature special guests Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez. The new album arrives just months after last year’s Rushmere.
