Monster Magnet Return To Australia In April

When you're thinking about stoner rock, it shouldn't take you too long for your mind to go to the mighty Monster Magnet; they're one of the most important bands in the genre and they're still going as strong as ever as they make ears bleed the world over.

The New Jersey psyched out rock'n'roll behemoth is still led by the mighty Dave Wyndorf, who formed the band back in 1989, and features a bunch of players – old and new – who have that same dedication to blisteringly heavy rock music. Australia has always been pretty welcoming territory for the band and they have acknowledged that with plenty of touring over the past few years, which makes their just announced visit in a couple of months not all that much of a surprise.

It'll be their first visit since the release of their ninth LP Last Patrol; here's a little taste of that record if you haven't heard it as yet.

They'll play four Australian shows when they make yet another trip down to Australia in April of this year, each show proudly presented by theMusic.
