Missy Higgins To Perform At AFL Women's Grand Final This Weekend

After wrapping up touring duties on Ed Sheeran's stadium tour in Brisbane last night, Missy Higgins won't be taking any time off, today announcing she will next perform at the AFL Women's Grand Final this weekend. 

The multiple ARIA Award-winning songwriter will take to the stage at Ikon Park ahead of the match between Western Bulldogs and Brisbane Lions starting at 12.35pm on Saturday.

"I grew up as a huge footy fan, going to matches all the time, and at one stage I was even the only girl in my primary school footy team," Higgins said in an Instagram post today.

Missy Higgins will kick off her headline tour of the country in May in support of her forthcoming album, Solastalgia, due out on 4 May.
