Midweek Chart Figures Indicate You Should Expect An Adele Album Under Your Xmas Tree

UK singer set to hold #1 yet again.

More Adele Adele Profile

Four weeks on and Adele-mania is STILL running wild with the ARIA midweek chart figures showing that the UK singer's acclaimed third album 25 is set to hold on to the #1 position on the Albums Chart yet again.

After debuting in top spot since its release last month, the latest offering from Adele is yet to be dethroned and it looks as though it will again take out #1, while Coldplay's A Head Full Of Dreams and crooner Michael Buble's 2011 holiday record Christmas are likely to again take out second and third place as last week's figures showed.

The only threat to the top three placings looks to be US artist Justin Bieber's Purpose which may creep back into the top three on the back of a number of its tracks featuring in the top end of the Singles Chart last week including Love Yourself (#1), Sorry (#3) and What Do You Mean? (#10).

Meanwhile the only new album debut this week comes from Josh Groban with his Christmas special Stages/Noel, which is expected to crack the top 40.

Moving back to the Singles Chart, expect to hear new tracks from Snakeships featuring Tinashe and Chance The Rapper with All My Friends, newly-announced Bluesfest act Elle King's Ex's & Oh's and Alessia Cara's Here.
