Set to crush the ARIA Albums Chart.

More Adele More Adele

It's only been out for a few days, but Adele's latest album 25 has already sold more than two million copies in the US alone and in doing so has broken a 15-year record, so it should come as no surprise that the UK mega-star is set to top this week's ARIA Albums Chart.

Earlier this week we reported that the record had reached Double Platinum status in Australia and it has already eclipsed that with today's news that it has achieved Triple Platinum in sales.

Furthermore, the album's lead single Hello has sat in the #1 position on the ARIA Singles Chart for the past four weeks. One can only assume these impressive feats will make it incredibly difficult for any other debuting artist to beat Adele to #1.

The only other artists aiming for a top ten finish this week according to the midweek figures includes Irish singer Enya with Dark Sky Island and Perth's own Samantha Jade with Nine.

Other album debuts this week include a Tracey Chapman Greatest Hits compilation, Adam Harvey's Harvey's Bar...The Backyard SessionsRoger Waters and Roger Waters The Wall and a Joe Cocker best-of record.

Meanwhile on this week's Single Charts, expect to hear new tracks from Major Lazer featuring Wild Belle with Be Together and London-based collective WSTRN's In2.
