Middle Kids To Tour In 2021 In Support Of Newly-announced Album

Aussie favourites Middle Kids will embark on their first headline tour of the country in two years in support of their newly-announced second album, Today We're The Greatest.

With the record set for release on 19 March, the trio will tour through Australia's east coast in May with shows confirmed for Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

“I used to drink a lot and most of my previous relationships revolved around this," lead singer Hannah Joy said of the new track.

"I don’t think I ever really knew them or they me as a result. Questions is about people being around each other but not being close. People who are in intimate relationships can stop asking questions of each other because they are uncomfortable and confusing.”

Today We're The Greatest is the follow-up to the band's 2018 debut Lost Friends, which saw them go on to support the likes of Bloc Party and score them slots on US talk shows like Conan and Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Pre-sale tickets for the east coast tour go on sale from 10am local time next Tuesday (19 January).
