Fleetwood Mac ProfileAussie fans will get the chance to see Mick Fleetwood up close and personal this year when the legendary drummer hits the country to promote a new Fleetwood Mac book.
The limited-edition book, Love That Burns — A Chronicle Of Fleetwood Mac, features over 400 rare images from Fleetwood's personal archives, as well as contributions from early members such as John McVie, Jeremy Spencer and Peter Green.
The book also includes an original manuscript from Fleetwood recounting his early bands, Fleetwood Mac's debut performance in 1967 at the Windsor & Blues Jazz festival, first international tours, live antics and so much more.
Fleetwood will appear at two ticketed events in Sydney (28-29 November) and Melbourne (1-2 December) to promote the book.
"I am looking forward to visiting Australia to tell the stories behind the early Fleetwood Mac, so superbly presented in this new Genesis Publications' collector's book," he said.
"This is a story that is intriguing and dramatic and yet largely unknown to many people. It is Fleetwood Mac’s 50 years this year so this is a great time to celebrate..."
