Country/folk songstress Melody Pool has just announced she'll be dropping her sophomore effort Deep Dark Savage Heart this April, as well as heading out on the road directly after to give fans a chance to hear some tunes from it.

The self-proclaimed "grateful angry-folk white witch" has also dropped the first single and video clip from the record, the soulful Love, She Loves Me.

The single is about being caught in a love triangle: "...Sort of feeling used and like a last resort for someone. But it’s also kind of a metaphor for love itself."

Pool says of the record though, "I feel like I’ve really stood my ground with this record. I didn’t ever expect to make an album filled with pop hits. It’s always going to be me playing guitar and singing the truth."
