Melbourne Summit CHANGES Unveils 2019 Venues & More

The full program drops next month.

With its full program announcement only weeks away, Melbourne’s CHANGES has today confirmed the venues taking part in this year’s event, while also locking down live music showcase curators and announcing the return of its Music Passport program.

It’s a big announcement from the Victorian summit – which will take place from 3 - 4 July - and follows news last month of new programmer Emily Ulman coming on board.

CHANGES will focus on Fitzroy this year for its live showcase aspect, with the likes of 123 Agency, Bad Apples Music, Barely Dressed Records, DOT DASH, Future Popes, Milk! Records, New World Artists, PS Music Group, Rice is Nice, Triple R, Select Music and more curating the artists who will feature throughout.

The aforementioned curators will work alongside beloved local venues Laundry Bar, The Evelyn Hotel, The Old Bar, Bar Open, The Night Cat, Labour In Vain, The Shady Lady, The Stone Hotel and Perseverance for showcases.

Additionally, “tastemakers and groundbreakers” from Brazil will bring “ideas and game-changing conversations” as part of the summit’s Music Passport program, while industry leaders from Canada, France, the UK and USA will also feature at the event.

CHANGES will “spark discussions and interrogate the current state of the international music industry across the realms of music, tech, talks and ideas”, with its full program expected on June 3.

Head to the CHANGES website for more details.
