Melbourne Rockers White Summer Unveil New Single & National Tour

'I Know A Place We Can Love' made its radio premiere on Tuesday night

Less than 24 hours remain until Melburnian rock outfit White Summer officially release their new single, I Know A Place We Can Love, so it seems an apt time for the band to simultaneously lift the veil on their touring plans, with the four-piece to announcing a whirlwind four-date east coast run kicking off early next month.

I Know A Place We Can Love made its radio debut on triple j's Home & Hosed program with Dom Alessio on Tuesday night, and picks up where previous single Smoke Screen left off in demonstrating White Summer's ability to harness hooks, beats and driving rock ideologies like absolute masters. According to frontman Jimmy Stanfield, the song tells "a story of finding uninterrupted love, sex and intimacy, and making it last in an ever-increasing[ly] conservative society", which sounds… well, just wonderful, really.

The track will have barely cooled on the shelves before the band take off for their brisk tour down the east coast, informing their upcoming performances with well-honed skills developed over a series of live outings both of their own and as support acts for the likes of DMA's, Kingswood, The Delta Riggs, Harts and Stonefield.
