AdalitaA host of Melbourne musicians have banded together to celebrate the life of much loved musician and sound engineer Robert ‘Bo’ Boehm, and raise money for the charity Support Act.
Boehm featured in the influential bands Clowns Smiling Backwards and Winduptoys, and made a name for himself in the ‘90s as the main sound engineer at the Tote, The Empress and the Punters Club. He passed away at the age of 55 earlier this month.
The gig, taking place on August 24 at The Gasometer, features a massive line-up including Adalita, Kim Salmon, Dandelion Wine, Philosophy Of Sound, The Night Sky, Noodle, The Revenant, Trappist Afterland and DJ Reductionist.
The $12 entry fee will be donated to Support Act, a hardship fun for career musicians and industry workers, who have no other means of assistance when affected by injury or illness.
