AltaAfter making waves with single Hold Your Fire and signing to Caroline Australia last year, Melbourne indie electro duo ALTA keep the buzz going, locking down a deal with Mushroom imprint Soothsayer.
A fitting title considering its accompanying announcement, the duo – consisting of vocalist Hannah Lesser and producer Julius Dowson – have also dropped new single Plans.
They’re taken their experiences from their previous two EPs and stints at Strawberry Fields, Paradise Music Festival, and international ventures and channelled it into the new song, toying with new sounds and utilising the less is more approach, allowing for a pulsating grooves and fragile vocals to create a heavy and dark soundscape.
