Melbourne venue, the Longhorn Saloon has confirmed that its bandroom will remain up and running despite the restaurant coming under scrutiny following neighbour complaints.
As The Age reported earlier this week, the Carlton establishment was forced to shut its doors last Friday after nearby residents complained that the smell and smoke from grilled meat was wafting through their balconies and ventilation.
The Longhorn received an improvement notice from the City Of Melbourne, who concluded that the odours were "offensive and constituted a nuisance".
While the venue has been given three weeks to rectify the issue at hand, the Longhorn's publicity team have confirmed to The Music that live music will continue to go ahead as planned, despite the restaurant's closure.
Victorian duo, the Davidson Brothers, will next perform at the Longhorn, slated in for Friday, 28 April.
