‘The Masked Singer’ Outrage As Rudy Giuliani Unmasked As Contestant

Judges storm off the set.

Judges on the set of The Masked Singer in the US have reportedly stormed off after a controversial unmasking.

As reported by Deadline, judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke walked off the set in protest as disgraced Donald Trump lawyer and former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani was revealed as a contestant on the singing competition.

The incident happened last week during the taping of season seven’s first episode and has been described as “perhaps the most polarising” unmasking since Republican politician Sarah Palin was unveiled as the Bear in 2020, the same year the show gifted us legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk as the Elephant.

It’s reported that fellow judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger stayed and spoke with Giuliani before Jeong and Thicke later returned.

It’s not yet known which costume/character Giuliani will wear during the new season, which airs next month.

Season three of The Masked Singer Australia wrapped in October, with US artist Anastacia winning as the Vampire, followed by runner-up Em Rusciano as the Dolly.

The fourth season of The Masked Singer Australia is expected to air this year.
