Lloyd is cementing his rise as one of Perth's finest rappers as winner of the WAM's Hip Hop Song Of The Year Award.
Perth rapper Marksman Lloyd has released his new single Seven Laps and announced two launch shows in support of the track.
Seven Laps sees Lloyd give an intensely personal yet slightly tongue-in-cheek commentary about the darker parts of his past - dealing with mental illness and struggling with addiction. The single is a clever introspection projected over a dirty bass heavy production.
The launch shows are set to go down in Leederville and Margaret River.
Coin Banks, Alex Ford, Anders, LVYN and Beckon are the supports for the Leederville show this weekend, while supports for the Margaret River gig next month are yet to be announced.
