That's all they needed.
After dropping their cover of blink-182's classic All The Small Things last week, Sydney group Middle Kids have been given the ultimate compliment with Mark Hoppus giving the song a thumbs up.
Taking to Twitter earlier this morning, the blink-182 bassist shared the cover, tweeting, "This has been brought to my attention. Thanks, @MiddleKidsMusic!".
The trio were quick to respond to Hoppus' tweet, writing back, "Thankyou for changing the world with your music. Our attempt is just a little token but we're glad you don't hate it X".
There's every chance Middle Kids and blink-182 could run into each other this month too, as both bands are scheduled to perform at Las Vegas' Life Is Beautiful Festival in late September.
