Brisbane outfit Marathon have announced their long-awaited debut album 'Cure', streaming the LP's first new track online.
Set to be released through Broken Hive Records, the album follows multiple EP and smaller releases from the quartet, featuring a dozen tracks' worth of the band's trademark style of chaotic hardcore/metal.
A veritable marathon (heh) of a process, 'Cure' was recorded between April and July of last year at Sun Distortion Studious in Brisbane with producer Chris Brownbill. Mixing was completed by Brownbill and James Balderstone at Capital Sound, before being sent off to be mastered courtesy of Carl Saff (Rise and Fall).
