The incident allegedly occurred in May.

A man accused of glassing Hilltop Hoods member MC Pressure (real name Daniel Smith) during a private gathering in Adelaide earlier this year has fronted court this week.

As News Corp reports, Christopher Peregi appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday after being charged with one count of intentionally causing harm to Smith during the gathering on 31 May.

It's reported that the alleged glassing occurred following an altercation during a wake at a home in Aberfoyle Park.

Smith was taken to Flinders Medical Centre with non-life-threatening head injuries for treatment following the alleged glassing.

Magistrate Brett Dixon adjourned the case until October after police prosecutors were granted an adjournment to prepare an evidence brief.

Hilltop Hoods will next appear at Splendour In The Grass this month, while they will release their first new music in two years next week.
