Man Arrested For Alleged Drug Supply At Sydney Dance Festival

Six people were hospitalised following the Midnight Mafia event earlier this month.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested today following an investigation into drug supply at Sydney's Midnight Mafia dance festival earlier this month.

NSW Police confirmed the man was arrested at a home in Kellyville Ridge just before 8am this morning and taken to Riverstone Police Station where he will be charged with drug supply offences.

The news comes after a number of drug-related arrests were made at the hardstyle event, which took place at Sydney Showground on 11 May, as well as six hospitalisations from suspected drug overdoses.

135 MDMA caps were seized from the people charged with drug supply, while another punter was found with $41,000 cash on his person and charged for dealing with the proceeds of crime.

Police investigations are ongoing.
