Maggot Fest Becomes Four Day Party, Announces Initial Line Up

Maggot Fest has quickly become a pretty massive celebration of underground music for Melbourne punters and this year it becomes even bigger than ever with a whole range of events stretching over a four day period, this year encompassing the Cup Eve holiday as well as the weekend before it.

Boomgates, Straightjacket Nation, White Walls and Oily Boys are among the bands who are on the bill for 2013, though there are over 30 acts who will be playing throughout the event's duration.

This year there'll also be a record swap at the Gasometer Hotel from 3pm – 5pm before the Saturday night show, which kicks off at 6pm and a drain rave on the Sunday night, which sounds frightening but will probably totally rule.
