Scheduled to make their Australian debut this weekend, Danish pop favourites Lukas Graham have cancelled their whirlwind visit due to frontman Lukas Forchhammer suffering “extreme exhaustion”.

The band’s latest album, 7 Years, has charted across the globe, including a #1 ARIA Albums Chart debut in April, but it seems all the promo and touring associated has taken its toll, with this week’s gigs in Sydney and Melbourne and a Japanese tour called off.

“We are really sorry to be missing you all this time but we look forward to coming back and seeing you all in the future,” the band said.

Ticketholders for Melbourne’s Max Watt’s show (Aug 13) and Sydney’s Metro Theatre gig (Aug 16) can seek refunds from their point of purchase.
