In a show of support between artists, Perth electronic artist Tomás Ford and Detroit dance punk six-piece Electric Six have covered each others' songs.

Just in time for Halloween, Ford has dished up an eerie alt-cabaret cover of Electrix Six's Steal Your Bones, while Electric Six have offered up a plate of Ford's Rockets, which ended up on their new record, Mimicry And Memories

Ford explains how the switcheroo came about: "Last year, I did a Pozible fundraiser for the Edinburgh Fringe season of my electronic cabaret The Final Chase. Perth comedy uber-supporter Mel Caseres took out the top tier reward of the campaign (which I'd put in as a joke), which meant I flew her to Edinburgh to hang out with me for a week and covered a song of her choice.

"Electric Six were doing a crowdfunding campaign at the same time, so she arranged for us to cover each other. Their version of my song Rockets was included on their Mimicry And Memories double LP, which came out earlier this year."
