2019 Listen Out Artists To Play In Charity Basketball Tournament At Melbourne Festival

The 'Hoops for HoMie' tournament is coming!

Some of the artists featured on the 2019 Listen Out line-up will take part in a charity basketball tournament at the Melbourne event this month.

The Listen Out acts, as well as NBL South East Melbourne Phoenix star players, will play in the Hoops For HoMie tournament to raise awareness for HoMie, an organisation focused on ending youth homelessness.

"Drawing attention to the issue of youth homelessness or hardship and our social impact programs is paramount for us, and it's great to be able to do so in a fun and creative way with artists, music lovers and young people interested in making a change in our community," HoMie co-founder and CEO Nick Pearce said.

Sydney DJ and MC FlexMami will host the event during the festival at Catani Gardens on Friday 27 September. Artists to play in the tournament will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The 2019 Listen Out line-up features a number of big name local and international acts including Flume, Diplo, Denzel Curry and Wafia.
