Listen Out Confirms 2022 Dates & Cities; Reveals When Line-up Will Drop

Following news earlier this month that Listen Out would make its return in 2022, organisers have today confirmed dates and cities and locked in an artist announcement date.

It’s been two years since Listen Out and spin-off event Listen In graced Aussie music lovers with some of the best local and international talent around, and the festival finally returns in September and October:

MELBOURNE | Fri, 23rd September
PERTH | Sun, 25th September
SYDNEY | Sat, 1st October
BRISBANE | Sun, 2nd October

LISTEN IN 2022
ADELAIDE | Mon, 3rd October

The highly anticipated line-up drop will happen next Tuesday, April 26, via triple j, with those wanting to get the scoop encouraged to listen from 8am AEST to find out who will be playing.

Organisers may have teased a couple of this year’s acts when already. When confirming the festival’s return in early April, the announcement video was soundtracked by 24kGoldn'sMood which features Iann Dior.

Today’s ‘Save The Date’ clip (above) features Louis The Child’s I Had Just Woken Up From A Short Nap.

Listen Out is renowned for its forward-thinking curation, hosting some of the globe's most talented and desired names from the rap and dance worlds. 

Most notably, in recent years the festival has hosted the likes of Flume, Diplo, Denzel Curry, Doja Cat, Slowthai, ScHoolboy Q, JPEGMAFIA, Malaa and many more.
