If you aren't already on The Masked Singer bandwagon, you'll wanna get on it now.

Set to premiere on Australian TV screens later this year, Network Ten has announced an all-star panelist line-up for the local version of the US series which will feature Danni Minogue, Dave Hughes, Jackie O... and Lindsay Lohan.

“The show has already been a huge success and I can only imagine it will get bigger," Lohan said.

"Each week will be so exciting to watch who performs and try and guess who's behind the masks. I feel honoured to sit on the panel and be a part of such an amazing show."

The series plays out in a similar fashion to the singing competitions we’ve seen here before but goes one step further than the likes of The Voice with a whacky twist, as its title suggests.

A number of local celebrities will feature on the Australian version of the show, with each performing to a panel of judges while hiding behind a character/mask.

The judges then have the opportunity to ask each contestant questions to try to determine their identity, while voting alongside the audience as to who will continue to the next round.

The US Masked Singer series, which premiered this past January, featured Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke, while celebrities such as Tommy Chong, Margaret Cho and Gladys Knight appeared as contestants, with T-Pain being crowned the winner.
