You can plan all you want when it comes to significant shows as a band, but there’s never a guarantee things will go off without a hitch.

That’s something Lime Cordiale know all too well after one of their recent shows at Hordern Pavilion saw the power go out during a set high.

The Aussie outfit were performing fan favourite Robbery during their encore when the power went out – thankfully, their adoring fans started singing the song until the situation was fixed.

Moshcam were there to capture the unique moment along with the rest of the set, and you can check out the very memorable Robbery performance below.

“This was the second Sydney show of the tour,” Lime Cordiale told The Music.

“The biggest hometown shows we’d ever done. The whole show was electric, one of our favourite shows ever, but halfway through Robbery, the whole bloody show shut down.

“The audience couldn’t hear a word we were singing! It could’ve been a trainwreck, but the audience kept singing like they didn’t even need us. Like loud football hooligans. What a standout moment that was!”

The past couple of years have been a whirlwind for brothers Louis and Oli Leimbach following the release of their second album, 14 Steps To A Better You.

The album saw them secure their first #1 spot on the ARIA Albums Chart and a huge eight ARIA Award nominations (including winning Best Breakthrough Artist), while picking up the J Award for Best Australian Album and landing five tracks in the triple j Hottest 100.

Added to that they got Post Malone's attention in late 2019 too, with the US artist announcing that he'd started working with Chugg Music following a joint management and label deal with Lime Cordiale AND they released music and performed with Idris Elba

You can watch the entire performance via Moshcam, either through subscription ($7.99) or rental ($5.99). For more details, click here.
