Liam Gallagher has responded to the latest furore regarding the upcoming Oasis reunion shows, which has seen fans’ tickets cancelled.
Ever since the upcoming shows from Oasis were announced in 2024, much of the discussion has revolved around the logistical nightmare that was the ticketing process.
Alongside high prices due to the dynamic pricing model, and exorbitant delays, many fans considered themselves lucky to have even organised tickets at all.
Things took a turn recently, however, when Ticketmaster recently began to get in contact with fans to flag that their tickets had been obtained through the use of bots. Reportedly, over 50,000 tickets ended up on resale sites – something that Ticketmaster had attempted to stamp out in the purchases process.
But a new communiqué from Ticketmaster has seen the company inform fans that their tickets had been refunded since “it has been identified that bots were used to make this purchase,” meaning they “violate the tour’s terms and conditions.”

“These terms were specifically established to limit resale of tickets on unauthorised ticketing platforms for profit,” the message continued. “Fans have been strongly advised by all parties not to purchase tickets from unauthorised resale sites, to protect them from fraud or refunding.”
Understandably, fans are furious, with many taking to social media to vent their frustration. Overnight, the prolific X/Twitter user Liam Gallagher was asked by a fan about what he thinks “of the ticket situation ? Thinking fans are bots and getting their money returned ?”.
“I don’t make the rules were trying to do the right thing it is what it is I’m the singer get of my case,” Gallagher responded.
Upon the original user assuring the singer she wasn’t getting on his case and just wanted to know “if [he’d] seen it”, Gallagher simply responded; “I see everything I work out”.

Oasis ended their 15-year silence in 2024 when they announced a string of reunion shows beginning in July 2025. Beginning in Wales, the group trek through Canada, the US, Mexico, and Asia before playing five shows in Australia across October and November.
Despite the massive international debacle that ticketing was for fans of the band, limited tickets do remain for Oasis’ Australian shows at the time of press.
