More Oasis More Oasis

With a matter of months to go until those long-awaited Oasis reunion shows kick off in the UK, speculation has started growing in regard to the potential songs that will be appearing on the band’s setlist.

As the Daily Mail reports, this week saw a supposedly ‘leaked’ setlist for Oasis’ upcoming shows start doing the rounds on social media, leading to excitement across the board for fans of the band.

It’s understandable, too. The setlist begins with the beloved B-side Acquiesce, which stands alone as the only track to feature both Liam and Noel Gallagher sharing lead vocals, and quickly heads into a showcase of their greatest hits, including the likes of Supersonic, Morning Glory, Rock 'n' Roll Star, Don't Look Back in Anger, and Champagne Supernova.

While past shows would indicate that the group might walk onto the stage to the sound of Fuckin’ In The Bushes, the setlist does leave off Wonderwall, which is notable as their biggest hit by a wide margin. Though Wonderwall was traditionally played toward the end of their main set, there’s every chance it may re-emerge in these reunion shows as part of their encore.

Questions do, however, need to be asked in regard to the authenticity of the setlist, which is exactly what one fan did on Twitter, asking Liam Gallagher if it is indeed official.

“It’s not far off,” Gallagher replied, kicking off a storm of debate amongst fans on socials.

Elsewhere, a typically quick-witted Gallagher responded to a fan who asked about the opening act for the band’s Australian shows by claiming that Kylie Minogue would be on the bill. Though his response was likely in jest, we can only hope.

Oasis ended their 15-year silence in 2024 when they announced a string of reunion shows beginning in July 2025. Beginning in Wales, the group trek through Canada, the US, Mexico, and Asia before playing five shows in Australia across October and November.

Despite the massive international debacle that ticketing was for fans of the band, limited tickets do remain for Oasis’ Australian shows at the time of press.
